Has your tyre pressure warning light come on?

Your trying to go about your day and get to work, you've stepped outside only to realise the car is still frozen! After some time spent de-icing your Suzuki, you finally get behind the wheel - only to discover a little horseshoe shaped light flashing at you on the dashboard warning you that your tyre pressure is low.... Sound familiar?

We get many calls during cold snaps of weather from customers experiencing this scenario, most often, simply caused by the cold weather. Did you know that for every 10-degree drop in temperature, tyre pressure decreases 1-2 PSI (pounds per square inch - the common unit for measuring pressure). Put simply cold shrinks, heat expands, so there is usually no cause to be concerned.

There is a very simple way to remedy this yourself by checking your tyre pressure and topping up where necessary. Please see our helpful 'how to' video which demonstrates how to make the relevant checks and top ups.

Of course, if you ever have concerns regarding your tyres, please do not hesitate to contact the Roadworthy Aftersales team on 0117 965 4990 and we will be more than happy to assist you.
