Here at Roadworthy we are looking for a Sales Colleague to join our family run Suzuki & Maxus dealership based out of our Fishponds Showroom.

The hours of work are 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 9am - 5pm, with a day off fortnightly. No Sundays are required (woohoo!) as we are closed.

Role and Responsibilities

  • This is a dual franchise role so you will be required to sell new and used Suzuki cars and new Maxus vans.
  • We would love to see a candidate with a keen eye for presentation, detail and a pro-active attitude keeping the forecourt looking refreshed and tidy.
  • As we are a franchised dealership we are have a small number of fairly simple processes set out by the manufacturer to help us meet dealership standards auditing, of which you will be responsible for helping your team achieve.
  • Grab every lead with both hands (and feet!) and maximising every opportunity that passes into our business from prospecting, follow-up calls, in-bound telephone enquiries, walk in prospects and internet enquiries.
  • You will be required to explain the our additional products to enhance the customers car ownership, such a service plans, accessories, paint protection, GAP insurance, finance etc.
  • You must be comfortable picking up the phone and prospecting. Due to the B2B nature of our Maxus van brand, the ability to liaise confidently in a professional manner is essential.
  • You may be required to represent the business from time to time at off site events and networking opportunities.
  • FCA & GDPR Important bits! As we pride ourselves on trust and transparency, adhering to the Company's FCA and data protection obligations is essential. Full training will be provided but a conscientious and mindful attitude are essential in this business.

Experience

  • A sales background is preferred, but we are looking to hear from candidates of all experience levels. This role may suit someone who has previously worked as a sales executive, retail assistant or in telesales and full training can be provided.
  • Smart and presentable appearance is essential, along with a friendly, personable and patient demeanour.
  • Full and valid UK drivers licence essential
  • Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential.

Salary negotiable and depending on experience. Uncapped commission scheme available upon completion of training (if required)
